Here’s a quick list of tips that should be helpful when setting up your Audiofusion system.
- SoundCaster must be connected by Ethernet directly to your router capable of running 802.11ac or better.
- 5GHz Wi-Fi channels must be used exclusively — no 2GHz channels.
- Instrument labeling can be performed independently on SoundCaster, Director, and Performer. Performer’s labels override Director’s labels, and Director’s override those on SoundCaster.
- Only 1 SoundCaster and up to 1 Director can be connected to Audiofusion at a time.
- SoundCaster can connect to up to 16 Performers at a time. However, the actual usable limit may be less, depending on the capability of the hardware (MacBook, Wi-Fi router, phones/tablets) being used.
